R&D provides academic trainings in the field of degrowth (see for example ESEE 2011) as well as shorter ones for civil society and other groups.
A feature which R&D has been especially developing is the so-called Group Assembly Process (GAP). GAP is a highly adaptable technique for the development of proposals, cooperative research or sharing ideas in big groups, as it is highly participatory (implying small groups work) and ensuring the flow of information between all members (implying series of general assemblies).
It was applied at the 2nd International conference on degrowth for ecological sustainability and social equity( see methodology ), as well as the Ecological forum of the biology students of the University of Barcelona ( Skamot vert -in Catalan-).
